ABOUT US
We offer Riding Lessons and Horse Training in Saddleseat, Hunt,
Dressage, Western, Driving, and Showmanship at our full service boarding
Facility in East Concord, New York. We are one of the few Saddlebred and Morgan
Training facilities in the area and we strive to be the best. Despite
specializing in the Saddleseat Show Horse, we tend to all breeds and disciplines
and have experience with Arabians, National Show Horses, Quarter Horses, Paints,
Appaloosas, and Warmbloods.
We currently have two school horses on the premises, “Simon” an
8 year old Morgan Gelding, and “Lance” a 15 year old saddlebred gelding who
recently joined the Aehdan Training Team. You are also welcome to trailer your
own horse in for lessons.
If you are looking to be a top competitor in the Equitation,
Juvenile, or amateur divisions on the "A" circuit this is the place for you! We
can be found at several rated horse shows throughout the year, and we also
travel to many local open horse shows throughout the summer months for those
that would like to show on a budget and just have
fun.

Ally Helmer, has a lifetime of experience with horses. Starting out her younger years
with Kathleen Bowen, She soon found herself in the showring and instantly fell
in love. She has worked with a very wide variety of horses, from the western
pleasure Quarter Horse, to the show stopping American Saddlebred and everything
in between. Over the years she has worked closely and catch ridden for many
Trainers and Owners, including Olivia Doutt Piatt, Charlene Aronson, Dan Laird,
Courtney Morrell, Patricia Brown, and Susan Hoffman Peacock. She has achieved many wins, and Grand National Top Tens, and prides herself in being one of few Saddleseat Trainers using Classical Dressage in their Programs today.
