Speaking as people who have been to multiple horse barns, Ally connects with her riders and horses exceptionally well. Whether you have been riding for a while or just beginning, what she is teaching is always understandable and easy to pick up. Her communication skills are unparalleled, things that usually take months to learn could be achieved in a matter of a few lessons. Her way of reading into your strengths and figuring out the best way to describe areas of improvement have helped our riding abilities tremendously.
We also have connected with our horse better than ever. He has never looked so good in the ring and Ally has brought great things out in him that we have never seen before.
We have significantly grown in confidence of our riding and our horses. We also have found the sport much more enjoyable and relaxed. The atmosphere of the barn and at shows is a very inviting one. The patience Ally exemplifies during stressful situations - horses misbehaving, showing three classes consecutively, etc. - is something that is hard to come by. That being said, Ally has a no nonsense attitude when it comes to this sport. We never feel uncomfortable, we always feel welcome, and we always feel there is so much to learn - and that is an exciting feeling!
